Tenikwa Feathers and Furs Sunday Lunch Potjie
Join us for a special bird-focused behind-the-scenes tour at Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation & Awareness Centre. The experience includes a unique look into their avian conservation efforts, including a visit to the penguin rehabilitation enclosure and a predator tour. After the tour, enjoy a delicious traditional South African potjiekos lunch served in the Boma.
Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation & Awareness Centre, located near Plettenberg Bay, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of injured and orphaned wildlife. While they focus on bird conservation, including penguin rehabilitation, Tenikwa also cares for various wild animals, including several wild cat species: Lions, Cheetahs, Serval, Caracal, African Wildcat, and leopard. Visitors to the centre can learn about their important work in wildlife conservation through educational tours, promoting the coexistence of humans and wildlife across South Africa’s diverse ecosystems.
